national fellowship program

Launched in 2023, the TAD Foundation Fellowship is a first-of-its kind nationwide program for blind and low-vision students. In this selective, year-long program, our fellows engage in quarterly in-person programming as well as online dialogue throughout the year focused on technical skills and leadership development. TAD Fellows are also paired with both blind and sighted mentors from across the business landscape and have access to original training curricula to learn, excel, and level the playing field with their sighted counterparts.

What is the application process like?
The application process helps us get to know you, your strengths, and your ambitions. The complete process is made of two parts. The first part is an online application to collect basic personal and contact information, your latest academic information, and a brief personal statement which can be provided in writing (500 words max.) or as an audio or video response (3 minutes max.). We also request and check two references who you provide. Those selected to proceed will then be scheduled for an interview with our program team.

I am still unclear of my career goals. Can I still apply to the TAD Fellowship Program?

The TAD Fellowship Program is for individuals seeking careers in private, for-profit or non-profit organizations. For those seeking careers in government or public service, we can recommend alternative programs for you to consider.
